CANADA & ALASKA...

This will be our 4th tour to Canada and Alaska. Join me on a journey to beautiful Canada - a country with so much to see and do and then relax on a wonderful inside passage cruise exploring the Alaskan frontier towns along the way.

Spending time on Vancouver Island is a must - exploring Victoria the capital with its superb waterfront dotted with fabulous cafes and shops all with a truly English ambience. A visit to the stunningly beautiful Butchart Gardens covering an area of over 50 acres of blossoms and fragrance await you with different landscaping features through out the property.
We will experience dramatic changes in scenery - from sweeping ranch lands to mountain peaks when travelling through the Canadian Rockies. Our journey takes us to Lake Louise - a stunning lake surrounded by forest and snow capped peaks, Jasper National Park and Whistler - a popular alpine resort. We will experience a ride on an Ice Explorer as we journey onto the massive Athabasca Glacier.

The scenery is spectacular as we drive through the Jasper National Park, past Mt Robson - the tallest peak in the Rockies... Where in the world can you find more compelling alpine scenery, exclusive resort towns and national parks brimming with wildlife than the Canadian Rockies?

But wait there is more... a luxury 7 night cruise with Holland America.
Cruising the Inside Passage reveals a remarkable untouched wilderness. Binoculars and cameras are a must as there is an abundance of wildlife to keep a look out for... whales showing their tales, eagles soaring overhead or a sighting a of a bear or a moose on the shore. Lots of options at each town we stop at... take a train or helicopter ride and view the spectacular winter wonderland below, or walk the boardwalks of these fascinating old towns and enjoy the shopping, old fashioned bars and cafes.

Undoubtably the highlight of this cruise will be visiting Glacier Bay where you can literally hear the glaciers creaking and groaning as they slowly move and the sight and sound of ice carving from the glacier wall as it plunges into the icy waters below with a sound that vibrates like a huge clap of thunder.
